Superman # 14 SPOILER REVIEW
Writer: Peter J. Tomasi, Patrick Gleason
As if there were not enough Supermans in the world, we crash into one that speaks Russian. That’s right Red Son Superman is back. Not only that but the first couple panels mention Kenan Kong as well. Their get to know you party is quickly ended by some monstrous looking bad guys called the Gatherers. These baddies had captured Red Son Superman (who obviously escaped) and were going to eventually go after Kenan. There was so much action the first half I almost feel like this should have been in Action Comics. Using their, well, Supermanliness they take out the Gatherers. Just in time for the Justice League Incarnate to show up. Another Superman has just graced us with his presence. The Incarnate consists of different league members from all different Earths. They have arrived to warn of the Gatherers who are kidnapping Superman’s across the multi-verse. In China, Kenan has already fallen victim to this entrapment. So the Supermen have to re group themselves and find a way to save the day…on every Earth!

It felt like the two Supermen were being overwhelmed just by the number of monsters they were facing. In a flash a heat powered laser eyes they freed themselves. Leading to a
I feel that this arc is going to be really entertaining and with so many dimensions there is a lot of ways it could play out. Watching the relationship between the different Supes will be interesting since they all have that overly good guy character trait. Who will be the leader in a room full of natural born leaders? Superman is such an iconic character that even when faced against versions of himself..each one should still be dynamic. The bad guys as far as I know are new to the DC family. I’ve only been reading since 52 so I could be wrong. Either way there's a cool sense of mystery to why they are here. Obviously, they have a leader and I’m excited to see who that leader is.
