Mild Mannered Part Two:

In this issue Superman tries to figure out how to save Lana and believes he may have found a solution. Hank Henshaw and team break into one of Superman's fortresses only to unleash a captive and have the fortress blow up. Lois Lane goes on a date with the non-Superman Clark Kent, and he finds out she is married. Next Issue: Superman Reborn Crossover

The Confessional:

Nothing happened in this book really, Superman did save Lana (which unfortunately makes the Superwoman book continue), Lois did go on that date with Clark Kent (which went way weird) but nothing major… We didn't find out anything real about Clark Kent, which this arc was supposed to do, except that he's a bit nuts. Yeah… add nuts to list with creepy… he followed Lois home after she turned down his proposal. Let's stop right there, somehow this Clark Kent believes they are meant to be together, and now I'm even more intrigued as to how he came to be… and that dinner date that he turned from casual to super romantic, if Superman doesn't kill him, which he won't, this Clark needs to just disappear (Mr. Oz take him away?). Now the Hank Henshaw bit was confusing, what exactly happened there, what was the security measures in place in that fortress and did they kick in? My biggest question is what role does Blanque have to play in the future? It seems like that's all this issue left me with are questions, which is one way to get the readers to keep reading… now will we get some answers? Now, this art is phenomenal, I have zero negative things to say about it and my favorite panels are the ones where they have Clark looking creepy outside of Lois and Superman’s house.

High Blessing: ★★★★★★✩✩✩✩
