Kyle and Hal vs The Mountain:

In this issue we finally have the Corps. finally doing something, well about to do something, Guy Gardner attempts his own form of Justice on a rogue Sinestro Corp. member. Meanwhile Kyle and Hal locate hope on a dying planet, but did the bite off more than they could chew? Next Issue: Mano Y Arkillo.

The Confessional:

So, using Guy as a lead character is great, having him go rogue and pick a fight with the meanest and most loyal Sinestro Corp. member because he knows he won't toe the line… SALVATION!!! Sorry folks, Guy Gardner is my weak spot… unfortunately the actual Corps are still not doing much of anything in this issue, which makes me wonder when they will actually do something. I love John as the leader, I even love him working with Soranik to build teams to go after some of these rogue Sinestro corp members. What would be nice is if they can change things up a little with their outfits, make the good Yellow Lanterns so when, or if, they ever face off it'll be easier to tell them apart. So with the Corps. in a stall thanks to Guy Gardner taking off on his own, we have two real stories here; Guy and then Hal and Kyle. Guy stole the show because even though what happened with Hal and Kyle while looking for the Blue Lantern was really important, I found Guy’s predicament to be more interesting. I mean he goes off, without his ring to take on Arkillo and calls him Princess, done right there… Now not to take away from Hal and Kyle: They find Saint Walker who is battling the elemental of the mountain who is going to destroy this planet once all hope is extinguished, which then uses Hal and Kyle to break down Walker… that was a failure waiting to happen, the universe's strongest Green Lantern and the only White Lantern… BOOM bye-bye elemental beast and welcome Saint Walker to the team…

The art in this issue was superb… favorite page was… well the last one. There was so much detail put into this issue, and this arc is looking up in my opinion.
