Another Big Bad Guy
Another end of the world threat is on the table and of course Bats is apparently the only one to know about it. He calls Supes for help. It Atlantis Aquaman is getting magically tortured by some guys who I honestly have no idea who they are…then it’s a flash back to yesterday of the whole League talking stuff out. Sorry it’s really hard to show any enthusiasm for this book, it’s been a disappointment for most of it’s run and things are not looking good for this book either. I just want a good coherent story with depth! Anyways, the League is attempting to assure the world that even though they were mind controlled and took over, they’re good now. But this is interrupted by some big bad guys…per usual
I’m sorry but this is just bad! The story jumped around more than hobo jumps train cars. There was barely any explanation of what the hell was going on. I had to force myself through this comic. Some random girl shows up saying she needs to save the world. Where’s the build up, the suspense, the sensible plot line! Now the timelines all screwy again of course. Even though the random girl and the plot she brings where her could be cool it just...it’s not executed well. Every time I pick up this book and just hope that maybe I’ll get a good story. Now it just may be me. There may be fans out there, but most everyone I talk to has had big problems with Justice League. Which is so sad because I for one loved the 52 run. Geoff Johns should just slip in and write an arc, just so that I can get excited about the Justice League again. Rant over… here’s to hoping this story turns out to be good. Because as a comic fan you can’t help but pick up the next issue.
