Whatever it Takes:

In this issue we have all of our heroes gearing up to take out the temporal bombs. Little do they know, Superman Tempus knows this plan and sends his Timeless to stop them, whatever it takes. Next Issue: Bat-Luthor.

The Confessional:

Okay, let me start with this: I REALLY WANT TO SEE BATMAN IN LEX’S SUPERSUIT!!!! Like even with this issue leaving scratching my head again for that one aspect I find myself ready for the next issue. However, like I said this issue had some problems, now while it has gotten better labeling where we are I still found myself taken out of the story by switching from place and time. I understand we have to set up for what comes next, but the way this book flowed seemed to bit off to me. Now the dialogue between Tempus and Superman didn't help this story either, there was just way too much of it, and it too was confusing. I need to know what Superman means by whatever it takes, because I'm sure Tempus will have his Timeless actually kill to achieve his goals… that's still a line that the Justice League won't cross, so does he actually mean whatever or will we get another non ending that Hitch is famous for delivering. And for the love of everything that could be good about this book we need a whole new art team, because our Justice League looks ridiculous, and the funniest part is that this art is phenomenal except for the main team… how could D.C. have let this out looking like this? Is it just me or do all of their faces look almost identical? With all of that the book actually can pass as a story… barely

Purgatory: ★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆  4/10
