Justice League of America #2

Writer: Steve Orlando

Dissension in the Ranks:

In this issue we have Batman surrender to Lord Havok, Dr. Diehard decides Havok is weak and tries to take over the team, but dies because of it. The Extremists leave New York and head to Kravia and take it over. The JLA track them down and go to intercept, however the government of Kravia are protecting them. What will our team do to take down the Extremists? Next Issue: Enemy at the Gates.

The Confessional:

Now we are getting somewhere!!! So, like I said last issue, there is no way for Batman to have been killed in this issue… but the way they play it out with Batman surrendering to save the team… that is the kind of selfless move that I know Batman would do and twist to his advantage. I also love how Canary questioned him after the fact, she wants to make sure he hasn't lost his mind. Batman being Batman, asked for blind trust. This issue surprised the heck out of me, and seeing as we are down to one group of artists, the art was not only good but had a cohesive look to it. I am liking the direction this book is going in and still have high hopes for its future.

High Blessing: ★★★★★★✩✩✩✩ 6/10
