Deja New 52:

Mxyzptlk is playing a game with Superman, but the cards are stacked against him. Does Superman have what it takes to save Jon before all of his memories are erased? Next Issue: Action Comics #976

The Confessional:

Mxyzptlk is playing his little games… we are three issues into this crossover, four if you count the second story in action comics and what I don't understand is what Mxyzptlk is playing at… Okay so he turned himself into Clark Kent to hide from Oz and help Superman, which is insane because Mxyzptlk knows that Oz has plans for Superman… so he hides disguised as the man Oz has his focus on… okay maybe that works, but once he breaks the spell he placed on himself, he decides enough was enough and seeks revenge? Stealing Jon away, then making Lois forget who he is… I'm sorry but this is making me feel lost. Now we have Superman playing one of Mxyzptlk’s games to try and save Jon and Lois, but he doesn't know that Mxyzptlk is cheating and is intending him to exhaust all of his power before reaching his objective. On top of all of that nonsense we have Jon gaining red power and saving the day… Now I wonder, because in the beginning of this issue Mxyzptlk brings up that New-52 Superman blew up into red energy, is that what went into Jon to help him?

Gleason knocks it out of the park again with the art, so while some of the story was rather confusing the art was amazing. Especially the double page of Mxyzptlk looking over the game board, great stuff!
