The Lost Boys #6

Writer: Tim Seeley
Artists: Scott Godelwski
Colors: Micheal Wiggam

Life in Death

The Blood Belles have over taken a retirement home and are holding Lucy captive, along with Laddie and Nanook. The Lead Belle wants to get her hands on the ancient one’s blood in order to become young and strong again. Then she plans to have her race take over the night. But with Alan, Edgar, Michael, and Sam ready to kick some ass the Belles are in for some trouble.

 The Confessional

What an awesome moment when Lucy stabs the Blood Belle in the heart and yells “stay away from
my boys,” it was very reminiscent of Harry Potter when Ron’s mom kills Bellatrix. I don’t know if that was a nod to that, but either way it was a really great moment. I have to say Tim Seeley did justice to my beloved Lost Boys, and gave it the sequel it always deserved. And what an epic ending to this arc. I love when I can still be surprised and this ending was definitely a “oh crap” moment. This book had such the perfect amount of nostalgia, cheesiness, and also just great story telling. As they lay Jim Emerson to rest you can see an era ending and a new fantastic chapter just beginning. I am so happy to be a long for the ride!
