To Infinity and Beyond
DC has done really well with having a similar theme run across all their books at the same time. Just as the Timeless arc is simmering hot in Justice League, we get another time traveler threat in Hal Jordan. It makes one wonder if the two are related?
This book has been a whirlwind of drama and lost friends. Only recently have all the Lanterns, finally been reunited. Considering this, we haven’t seen all of the Lanterns work together. When I say all the Lanterns, I’m thinking Kyle, Jon, Hal, and Guy. All these Alpha males who have led with dignity and pride, now have to work side by side to face this new threat. Will some of the guys be able to step aside or is there going to be a testosterone battle?
The Sinestro Corps and Green Lanterns have a very long history dating back to the very beginning, and this mix up in alliances is fresh and exciting. Venditti is doing a fantastic job in writing a riveting plot line that has different stories smoothly entangling with one another. Now that we have another threat in the midst how will this new union handle the situation?
