How Many Supermen Does It Take…?
Things get heated between China White Triad gang, and Lex Luthor. Luckily for them the real Superman shows up to save the day. With the help of a new team member the heroes are able to turn the tides in their favor. Unknowingly to them, something else is brewing behind the scenes.
As we saw in Supergirl, and what Batman has been doing for months now, Superman is slowly building a team. Why, you may ask? Now he knows something big and powerful is coming and he’s going to need a lot of help to get through it. As someone who has been absolutely dying for the Watchmen plot to kick in, it’s very exciting to see the preparation for it to begin. Not only is that team up happening, but the Justice League of China just might get their very own version of Flash. I’m excited to see how she interacts with the rest of the China League.
I have been waiting and waiting for the moment that Lex Luthor shows his true colors once again. Right now he’s in four maybe five different story arcs; all the while coming off as a decent guy. He may have pulled the wool over on Superman, but I don’t trust him for one single second. In this book we finally get to see some of that narcissistic temper he is so famous for. Is he finally cracking?
So a lot happened. There were demons and new characters, and a Sophie’s Choice moment, that Kenan totally failed at. But the point of it all is that things may not always seem as they appear. Girl Flash, who once was a part of the China White, may be turning a new leaf. Kenan’s master has more secrets than the writers of DC comics have, and Supes is revealing his own agenda. Now that Kenan and the Justice League of China is in the US, will they be more involved in what is happening right now?
