Helllll Yeah

Yes, yes, yes! Aqualad is back in the picture. Just in time too, as King Shark is doing his best to terrorize the city. An unsure of himself, Jackson Hyde will finally be able to find his strength and talents among new friends…and one little angry leader.

A Different Approach

Previous issues felt a lot more serious and rooted in an almost Gotham like setting. I really enjoyed the ‘Young Justice’ feel to this book. The stakes are still high, but the overall tone felt much lighter. These are some of the best characters I’ve come to love over the years, and I cannot wait to see them develop personally and as a group.

A King is Upon Us

It was interesting to see Jackson seem insecure, as far as I know he has always held him self to high esteem. But I think in this story it’s going to work really well, and add some interesting depth to how the team dynamics will work. Overall a great read and 100% worth your time

So What

The Lazarus Contract is just on the horizon and everything we are reading right now is a set up for that. I really hope Benjamin Percy will be the front runner on that, because he is easily becoming one of my favorite writers of all time!
