When you’re lost with no where to go, there’s no better team to have your back than the Justice League. With determination, perseverance, and a little luck the Rangers might just be able to find their way home.
***NON-SPOILERS and SUMMARY AT THE BOTTOM***
With Tommy’s Dragonzord, Cyborg and Billy are able to find a way to get back to the Power Ranger’s dimension. All a little too late, as they arrive the Rangers have to watch as their home is slowly shrunk down. Soon it will be added to Brainiac’s collection. Without their coins the Rangers are a little lacking in a fight, so in order to lend a hand they have to suit up with whatever they have on board. This is also to protect their identities. A hilarious panel shows our Rangers dressed as some interesting DC icons. Will the two teams be able to put a stop to Zedd and Brainiac, or will they be one man too short?
I absolutely love the breezy, fun, and entertaining way this comic is told. It is perfect for what it is. Even with having a juvenile feel, Tom is able to add some depth to the story. There were so many moments that just get you pumped up and excited. The ending was quite a surprise too, for teenagers these kids don’t mess around! I’m on the edge of my seat for the next episode.
Sum it Up!
If you want to feel like a kid again, with a bowel of fruit loops in front of you, and the TV on Saturday morning cartoons, this book is perfect for you. Tom Taylor is doing a great job of mixing nostalgia with just plain good story telling, and with good characterizations. Add in some art that fits the tone of the story to a T, and you’ll have one of my favorite books coming out of DC right now, Justice League/ Power Rangers!
