Truth or Dare
Bolphunga has claimed that a Green Lantern member has murdered a Yellow Lantern. He holds this information over Jon’s head, and threatens a ‘press’ release, unless the Lanterns find the truth. Without Hal’s help, Jon turns to Guy Gardner and Ark, to help him find the source of this information. Meanwhile, Soranik is still pretty annoyed with Kyle, because he keeps asking her to leave the Yellow Lantern Corps. Even Killawog can see the Kyle is being a bit ridiculous.
Soranik realizes that Kyle started acting weird after the death of Sarko, so she heads to the morgue to investigate. There she finds that this dead villain’s lineage leads to Kyle Rayner himself. Not ONLY that, but there are two possible genetic markers that match to two Korugarians in the database…Soranik and Thaal. Man, Kyle is going to have some explaining to do.
Fighting their way through a gang of uglies Guy and Ark find what they were looking for, a data port. The one that Bolphunga claims has a video of the murder. As if it can’t get any worse, both Hal and Jon find out the truth at the same time…Tomur has done a really bad thing.
Sum It Up
Well, I didn’t expect that ending. I loved the whole Murder on the Orient Express vibe that was going on through this book. It felt new and fresh compared to the normal flow of how Robert usually writes. The action is more at at a minimum, but the plot and drama has definitely thickened. One can only guess what on Earth is next for the Corps.
