Emperor Super-Man is on a rise to power with a team super-villains as his army. Will the Justice League of China be able to take back their city? Especially with Wonder-Woman, Kenan, and Fat Bat overwhelmed by their own personal dilemmas.
***NON-SPOILERS and SUMMARY AT THE BOTTOM***
A distraught Kenan tries to come to grip with the fact that Dr. Omen is his mother. Before he can even process it, Emperor Superman sweeps in and steals her away. No, not in a romantic sort of way, literally swoop and snatch. As Kenan’s emotions get the better of him, he can feel his powers fade, he must keep his Qi in check if he’s to stand a chance in this fight. As the Emperor gets away, Kenan remembers something, and rushes to the lab, where he learned his father was. But as they arrive they see the tube busted open and his dad no where to be seen. Kenan must now reassemble and reassess.
Sum It Up
I said it before and I’ll say it again, this is one of the best books coming out of DC right now. The art, the dialogue, the plot, every centimeter of this book oozes awesomeness. I can’t get enough of the the Justice League of China. It’s such a refreshing and new take on the age of the Superhero. I really hope everyone out there takes a chance on this book. I promise it’s worth it!
